Setting holidays in the second half of July could help mitigate the negative impacts of climate change

This research, carried out by scientists from the Institute of Geosciences (IGEO-CSIC-UCM), within the framework of the Interdisciplinary Thematic Platform on Climate and Climate Services of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), indicates that scheduling summer holidays during the warmest period of the year in Spain, that is, around the second half of July, could mitigate some of the negative impacts associated with extreme heat.
